The Search for the Sword of St Peter

    The sword once carried by Peter.  Does it still exist?  Taltalizing clues in an old catacomb leads Jim Matson, of San Diego's Treasure and Artifacts Research Agency to believe that it does.

But the quest to find it becomes deadly as Matson is drawn into the web of a beautiful assassin and the man who controls her - a ruthless collector named Thijn, whose obsession is to find the sword first.

Yet the competition involved the Avengers of Canaan, a fundamentalist cult led by Khalim Naphal.  Naphal wants the sword to fuel a war against all Arabs and Jews inhabiting ancient Canaanite lands.

From the Istrian Peninsula to Italy, Amsterdam, Southern California and Poland - the race is on.  At stake is power and fortune, and a holocaust that could explode the northern hemisphere into war.
